Dear Family
My name is Isadora, and I am a warm, caring, and responsible childcare provider with a deep passion for working with children and families. Coming from a multicultural background and having lived in both France and England, I value creating a nurturing and engaging environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow. In addition to my work in childcare, I am also an entrepreneur, currently building my own platform while working on the side. I love the flexibility that childcare provides, allowing me to pursue my passions while continuing to make a positive impact on families. Traveling is another big part of my life—I love exploring new places, cultures, and experiences, which has helped shape my adaptable and open-minded approach to both work and life. Beyond childcare, I am a great cook and love preparing healthy, delicious meals for children and families. I also enjoy spending time in nature, practicing yoga and tennis, and expressing creativity through painting and journaling. I love incorporating these activities into my caregiving to keep children active, curious, and engaged in a meaningful way.
My Favourite Memory
One of my favorite memories is helping cook for our large family gatherings, where I would assist in preparing meals and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. These experiences instilled in me the importance of connection, hospitality, and nurturing those around me—qualities I bring into my work with children.
My Experience
I have over 7 years of experience caring for children of all ages, from newborns to older children. I have also supported women throughout their pregnancy, providing care and assistance during this special time. My experience includes both in-home and group childcare settings, where I have created warm and stimulating environments tailored to each child's needs. Whether it’s soothing a newborn, organising creative activities for older kids, or simply being a reassuring presence for families, I approach my work with patience, attentiveness, and a genuine love for caregiving. My goal is always to ensure children feel comfortable, cared for, and happy in my presence. If you’re looking for a reliable and loving caregiver who can provide a safe, joyful, and enriching experience for your child, I would love to connect with you! Feel free to reach out—I look forward to meeting your family.
My Education
I have firsthand experience in both the French and English educational systems, having studied in both environments before completing my degree in Anthropology at Durham University. While I appreciated aspects of both systems, I found myself more receptive to the encouraging and supportive teaching approach I experienced in England compared to the often penalising nature of the French system. This experience deeply shaped my teaching philosophy—I strive to create an environment where students feel motivated, confident, and inspired, much like my English teachers once did for me.
My Family
I come from a multicultural family, and growing up, I lived in both France and England, experiencing the richness of different cultures firsthand. As the youngest of four siblings, I grew up in a dynamic and lively environment where teamwork, adaptability, and creativity were essential parts of everyday life. My upbringing taught me the value of communication, empathy, and responsibility—skills that have been invaluable when working with children.
My Motivation
I created this profile on Oogo to connect with families and find meaningful job opportunities that allow me to support myself as I continue pursuing my entrepreneurial endeavors. Working with children has always been a rewarding experience, and combining this with flexible opportunities on Oogo enables me to grow personally and professionally while making a positive impact on the families I work with.
My Interests
I have a deep love for nature and enjoy staying active through physical activities like yoga and tennis, which help me stay balanced and energised. When I’m not outdoors, I love to immerse myself in reading, journaling, and creative projects like making collages or painting. Engaging in these creative activities allows me to explore self-expression and imagination, which I also bring into my interactions with children—encouraging them to think creatively and express themselves freely.
