Hello, I'm Francisca V.
Hi, my name is Francisca, I am 27 years old and originally from Chile. I’m a qualified dentist with a First Aid certificate for both children and adults. I have been caring for children from as young as 1 month up to teenagers of 15 years old. I live in Dublin 6 and work part-time in Dublin 8 in the afternoons, so I am available every morning until 12/12:30 pm, after 7 pm, and also during weekends. I would love to find a family nearby. I truly enjoy spending time with children—playing, supporting their growth, and making sure they always feel safe and happy with me.
My Family
I come from a very close family of five: my parents, who have been married for 29 years, my younger sister (21), and my younger brother (18). We are from the south of Chile and love spending time together. At home, we also have three dogs—we are all great animal lovers!
My Favourite Memory
One of my favourite memories is when I pick up the boy I currently mind from school—he runs happily to hug me, and then we spend the afternoon playing in the park. Another special memory for me is when I cared for a 2-month-old baby. Feeding him, putting him to sleep, and spending hours together was a very tender and rewarding experience.
My Education
I studied Dentistry at university and worked in public health in Chile for one year, where I treated many children and teenagers. Later, I decided to travel and live new experiences abroad.
My Interests
I am currently focused on improving my English, and I enjoy swimming a lot—I used to be part of a competitive swimming team in Chile. I also like walking on sunny days, exploring new places, and of course, I remain passionate about dentistry and medicine.
My Motivation
I love working with children because I find it very fulfilling to see them grow, learn, and feel supported. While working in public health, I treated many children who were afraid at first, and I helped them feel safe and confident. That experience showed me how much I enjoy connecting with kids and supporting families, which is why I would love to continue this work here in Dublin.
