Hello, I'm Clemence P.
Hello, my name is Clémence! I’m 29, originally from France, and have been living in Dublin for the past two years. I’ve been babysitting since I was 12 and also enjoy tutoring maths and languages - so if your child needs some French lessons, I’m happy to help! 😉 I’m particularly available during evenings and weekends, but as a freelancer, I have a flexible schedule overall. I’d love the opportunity to support your family and ensure your little ones are happy and well cared for.
My Family
I’m very close to my family. I have one older brother, who I'm very closed to and my parents are now retired and enjoying life by the beach in France!
My Favourite Memory
I grew up spending pretty much all of my holidays at my grandparents’ house in the countryside, surrounded by nature and animals: we had three dogs, chickens and a little hutch full of fluffy rabbits. I’d spend hours outdoors helping gather eggs and feeding the animals. It was the kind of childhood that taught me to be gentle and to appreciate the simple joys of life.
My Education
I originally studied law, earning a Master’s degree because I once thought I wanted to become a lawyer. But along the way, I realised my real passion was in telling stories, so I went on to complete a Master’s in Journalism and Political Science. Today, I work as a journalist for French-speaking media.
My Interests
As a true French, I love to cook - nothing too fancy, but always made with care! I also enjoy spending time outdoors, especially here in Ireland where the landscapes are perfect for hiking. I also love a good game of tennis. And when I’m in the mood for something quieter, you’ll find me curled up with a comic book and a cup of tea!
My Motivation
I’ve always loved babysitting because I genuinely enjoy spending time with children: their imagination and creativity never fail to inspire me. I find a lot of joy in creating a safe and fun space for them!
