Dear Family

My name is Charlotte, and I was born and raised in Dublin. I am a sociable individual and I love the company of others, especially kids!

My Favourite Memory

I have many favourite memories, but one that stands out and is close to my heart is when I was able to mind my cousin's baby for the first time. I was about 16, and I had now minded all of my cousin's kids, and it was a very special feeling to look after a family member! Another one of the nicest memories I have from all my jobs was when a local new Mum called me up to ask for a few hours of help so she could rest. She was a single mum who had had her baby during COVID and needed to sleep. I came over and she handed me the newborn and went to bed. I didn't know the baby from before but immediately felt so connected to her. She stayed awake for ages in my arms, totally content. Everything was so pure and serene in the room with her for ages.

My Experience

I have over 10 years of experience in childminding. I began minding my neighbour's kids at the age of 13, and I never looked back!

My Education

I went to an international school in Clonskeagh for primary and secondary school. I then went to UCD when I did my bachelors degree in Animal Science - Equine followed by a Masters in Regulatory Affairs and Toxicology.

My Family

I have two older brothers, my mum and my dad, who I am very close to and of course, my dog Pippa, who I love very dearly.

My Motivation

I want to keep up with part-time childcare as I genuinely enjoy looking after children and allowing parents to have some down time.

My Interests

I am a big animal lover. I love being active and spend a lot of time outdoors playing sport. I love art, cooking and baking.

My Personality

I am a bubbly person, and I love to laugh and have fun! I am a nurturing individual and I enjoy looking after people and making them feel happy and safe.
