Dear Family

Hi, I’m Antonia! I’m originally from Vermont but have been living in Dublin for the past five years. I recently graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences, and I’m hoping to pursue medicine in the future. Alongside my studies, I’ve always loved working with kids and have years of experience caring for little ones, from newborns to school-age. I’ve looked after families with multiple children at once, and I’m comfortable with everything from daily routines and school runs to playtime, meals, and bedtime. I’d describe myself as caring, reliable, and organised, with a lot of energy and patience. I’m now looking for a full-time nanny role where I can bring all of that experience to support a family and make sure the kids are well cared for and happy. Outside of work, I love staying active, running, hiking, and snowboarding when I can. I’m also big into reading, music (I play the violin), and I’ve recently started learning Italian.

My Experience

I’ve worked with kids throughout my life some of my very first jobs were as a babysitter and nanny for families in Vermont, where I cared for children from newborns up to ten years old. My most relevant experience was looking after three siblings aged 2, 5, and 7, where I managed their daily routines, meals, playtime, and school runs. I also spent a summer in high school as a camp counselor, planning activities and supervising groups of children in a busy, fun environment. In college, I studied Biological and Biomedical Sciences at Trinity College Dublin, specialising in biochemistry. Through my degree, I gained experience in research and laboratory work, developed strong organisational and communication skills, and learned to balance multiple responsibilities. These experiences have taught me to be reliable, detail-oriented, and adaptable qualities I bring with me into childcare as well.
