Dear Family
I come from China and moved to Ireland last September to study an MBA at Trinity College Dublin, which I completed this August. My background is in accounting, and I worked for many years in different companies and industries. While I am now looking for a full-time job, I also want to do part-time work. I see myself as a responsible, simple, caring, and patient person. Although I don’t have children of my own, I really enjoy being with them. For me, spending time with kids is always relaxing and joyful. Children often feel comfortable with me and like to play. For example, I sometimes take care of my friends’ children, and we enjoy drawing or playing small games together. I am also good at math, and I can help children with their homework. As a native Mandarin speaker, I can also teach them simple Mandarin if families are interested.
My Favourite Memory
My best memories are always connected with children. They are pure, innocent, and bring joy in a very natural way. I am a quiet person, and I usually feel less pressure with kids than with adults.
My Experience
I have cared for my friends’ and cousins’ children many times over the years in China. Sometimes it was for just a few hours after school, and sometimes for a whole day or weekend. I helped them with homework, especially math, read bedtime stories, and played games like drawing or ball games in the park. I also enjoyed cooking simple meals or preparing snacks for them. Through these experiences, I learned to be patient, gentle, and attentive. Children often feel comfortable with me, and they like to share their thoughts and play together. Even though I do not have my own children, I feel very natural and confident when taking care of them.
My Education
I completed my MBA at Trinity College Dublin. Before this, I studied accounting and worked for many years in finance and control positions with international companies. My education and work experience taught me discipline, responsibility, and attention to detail. I also have strong skills in mathematics, which I can use to support children’s learning.
My Family
I am the only child in my family. My parents are retired and live in China. I am very close to them, and they are always my strongest support in life. Even though I live far away now, we talk often, and their care and encouragement always give me strength.
My Motivation
I understand childcare is not always easy for parents, especially when they are busy with work or for single parents who manage everything alone. I hope I can be a person who supports them when they need help, either in urgent cases or simply when they need time for themselves. Caring for children gives me joy and at the same time makes me feel useful to families. I believe spending time with kids is not only helping them, but also brings positive energy to me.
My Interests
In my free time I enjoy hiking, visiting art exhibitions, watching movies, and spending time in nature. These activities make me relaxed and give me positive energy. I am also a traveller and adventurer. I like to explore new places, learn different cultures, and meet new people. I believe this makes me more open-minded.
