Job Description
Looking after one 4 year old boy and nine month old baby for three days a week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) in Dun Laoghaire, including pick-up from local playschool (15 minute walk).
Our Family Routine
Playschool starts at 9am and finishes at 12.30pm. Mum or Dad home by 6.45pm. New born schedule not yet clear! Paddy would need lunch and dinner around 6pm.
Our Home Environment
Our house is in the middle of Dun Laoghaire town. Paddy plays in the sitting/dining rooms and the kitchen (in his kitchen!). We have a small garden but - so far - it’s been big enough for Paddy.
Our Expectations
We’d love a minder who could speak Irish, but that’s a big ask! Dad is an Irish speaker, and mum and dad try to incorporate Irish as much as possible. We value play and reading.
Qualifications and Experience
We are not sure about this. We haven’t had a minder to date as we’ve struggled through with parents’ assistance etc.
Our Budget
We don’t know what is market and would love to have a discussion about this.
About this Family
Baby 2 on the way in October. Both of our jobs can require ad hoc coverage occasionally (GP and solicitor)
