Dear Family

Hi families, I am Kelly França, a 29 year-old girl who has been living in Dublin since June 2023. I came here to improve my English.

My Favourite Memory

My favourite memory was from one summer in Brazil when I had a trip with my family. We were together and enjoying each other's company on a lovely warm weekend. Playing soccer, swimming and going out together.

My Experience

I started looking after children when I was 14 years old, from newborns to 12 year-olds, including autistic children. I have been working as a home care assistant (older and disabled people) since last September in Dublin, where I am responsible for motivating self-conduction, self-esteem and independence. I also help supporting mealtimes and light household work, always checking all the tasks to ensure the safety of the client.

My Family

My family has always been together, I have a younger sister and a older brother. Unfortunately my dad passed away in 2019 and it was really difficult for us, especially for my mom, but we support each other and we are doing better now. We always chat and it makes me feel safe and supported.

My Motivation

My motivation started when my younger sister was born. She changed my life and my point of view when I was only 14 years old and had to help my mom looking after her from the first days of her life.

My Interests

I love cooking, DIY activities, exercises like walking, hiking, cycling and playing soccer (only for fun, I am not the best player!). In addition, once I come from a tropical country, so I love activities at the beach, swimming pool or park. I also love watching movies and series.

My Personality

I am an easygoing, funny, creative and warm person. I grew up early through having many responsibilities since I was a teenager, so always try to ensure everything is okay and safe.
