Dear Family

Hi there! I am an aspiring solicitor in the midst of my FE1 exams and I am looking for some child minding. I am bubbly and out going person and I love spending time outdoors (particularly when the sun is shining). I love being around children as they always have interesting insights and are so playful! I am from Dublin and speak fluent English and French, and good Irish so happy to help with homework, and around the house where needed!

My Favourite Memory

I used to bake frequently with the children I babysat for over the summers. I love baking with children as I think it’s so educational and a fun way to make something tasty! I remember we made chocolate buns one time and we spilt the mixture everywhere and had to start again from scratch! A learning curve for us all!

My Experience

I have experience minding children. I cared for 3 children (ages 5-11) and helped with meals and bringing them to and from camps for 2 consecutive summers. I have also babysat my cousin who has autism and done occasional babysitting for other families and neighbors whilst in school and college.

My Education

I went to secondary school in Dublin (Muckross) which I loved! I’ve always loved school and the environment it created! I then moved to Galway to study Law and Legal French. During my studies I had the opportunity to do an Erasmus where I spent a year studying in Toulouse, France. I then completed my degree in May 2023, and I am now studying to become a solicitor, I.e, doing my FE1 exams.

My Family

I am from a family of 5, my parents are from Dublin and Wicklow. I am the middle child, with an older sister (25) and younger brother (20). We also have a beautiful golden retriever named Juno (13)! We all grew up in Dublin and then I moved to Galway for college and I have now moved back to Dublin.

My Motivation

My motivation is mostly goal orientated. I am a strong minded individual who loves to achieve their goals. I usually attempt to set goals I think are achievable for me and those around me and try to motivate myself by doing this.

My Interests

I am into fitness, health and wellbeing! I love walking and running, and I enjoy doing long hikes when I have the time! I also frequently go to Pilates and run club now that the hockey season is sadly over for the summer! I’ve also recently started back to tennis after a haitus since secondary school! I also am a foodie and I love good food!
