Dear Family

I am currently working as a Nanny. I'm available for evening Babysitting and some weekends. Fully qualified in Child care with over thirty years experience. I live in Westport town centre but am prepared to travel to Castlebar or similar for evening and weekend work. Happy to do overnights and I have lots of really strong references. If you would like to speak to any of the families I've worked with before, they are all happy to take a call, just let me know. My biggest thing for children is introducing them to books as early as possible. There is no child too small to not be read to. I think my proudest accomplishment in this line of work is that families still come up to me whose children I looked after years ago and they say that their children still read because of me.

My Favourite Memory

Quite simply my favourite memory of anything to do with children is when my own son was born. As a Mother I look after my families children like my own.

My Experience

I have over 30 years of work with Children in a private setting. I have the level 5 Fetac Certificate in Childcare, Garda vetted, First Aider. I've worked as a kids club Manager at a busy hotel so I am used to lots of energetic kids. I also do a lot of voluntary work.

My Education

Fetac level 5 in Childcare, NNNEB Nursery Nursing Diploma, First Aider, Gatda vetted. Vast experience. If being a mother is relevant then that's also a qualification from the university of life.

My Family

I am a single parent of 1 child, who has just left school, getting ready for College now...We live in Westport town centre.

My Motivation

I currently work as a Nanny, and have babysitting jobs too . I'm always open to meeting new children. I have extra capacity and would like families who need extra hours to know where to find me.

My Interests

I like to read, (I'm in a great book club,) travel around Ireland, spend time with my Dog, and enjoy eating out. I read to all children, even the little babies.
