Job Description
We're on the lookout for a kind-hearted minder to look after our lively 2-year-old son, especially someone who adores pets as much as he does. Your duties will include school pickups, helping with homework, engaging in playful and educational activities, and occasionally looking after our beloved family dog. We hope to find someone who can become an extension of our family, offering a stable and joyful presence in our son's life.
Our Family Routine
Our family thrives on a structured yet flexible routine that balances school, work, play, and relaxation. Mornings are for getting ready for school, afternoons are packed with extracurricular activities or playdates, and evenings are our time for family meals and winding down. Weekends are a mix of outdoor adventures and cosy time at home. We value a minder who can seamlessly integrate into our routine, providing consistency and care for our son while accommodating the occasional deviation from the norm.
Our Home Environment
Our home is a warm, inviting space filled with laughter, creativity, and lots of love. It's a place where our son and his furry best friend can play and explore safely. We have a dedicated playroom, a secure garden for outdoor activities, and a cozy family area where we spend quality time together. We're looking for a minder who can contribute to this nurturing environment, ensuring it remains a safe and happy space for our son.
Our Expectations
Our ideal minder is reliable, communicative, and genuinely enjoys spending time with children. We expect timely updates about our child's day, transparency regarding any challenges, and collaboration to ensure his well-being. Most importantly, we hope to find someone who can provide a loving and stimulating environment, making our son's time without us as enjoyable and enriching as possible.
Qualifications and Experience
We're looking for a minder with a background in childcare or early childhood education, first aid and CPR certification, and experience with young children and pets. The ideal candidate will be energetic, creative, and empathetic, capable of providing both educational support and fun, loving care.
Our Budget
Budget negotiable for the right-fit person.
Additional Information
We're also keen on finding someone who can occasionally accommodate overnight stays or weekend care. If you have a passion for child development, love dogs, and are looking for a long-term position with a caring family, we'd love to hear from you.
