Faylinn Montessori School and Crèche is a beautiful, purpose-built centre, set on a picturesque one-acre site within seven acres of private grounds. Operating since 2007 and only eight minutes from Gorey Main Street, Faylinn is owned and run by a highly qualified professional with 18 years' experience in the childcare field.
Approach and Philosophy
Faylinn Montessori School and Crèche is committed to nurturing an enthusiasm for learning in partnership with developing confidence and a good sense of self, in all the children in our care. We provide an environment that allows children to feel secure to explore and learn at their own pace.
Facilities and Amenities
We pride ourselves on our extensive outdoor areas providing individual outdoor play areas for all age groups, where classrooms open directly into individual gardens. As well as individual play areas, our service boasts a vegetable garden where children can experience nature at its best. In addition to the above, Faylinn has exclusive secure and private parkland consisting of fruit trees, an obstacle area, a science area, a water area, a fairy hill and storytelling/picnic area.
Staff and Qualifications
We are members of Early Childhood Ireland, keeping us up-to-date with all the legislation and changes taking place within the childcare sector.
Safety and Security Measures
Faylinn has been awarded a Fire Safety Certificate, is health board inspected annually and is compliant with all government legislation.
Nutrition and Meal Plans
We believe that nutrition should be top of the agenda for pre-schools, giving children the foundations for a healthy lifestyle and positive attitude towards food. With this in mind, we provide a homely dining room where children can sit with their friends and enjoy meals together. Our dining room is adjacent to the kitchen, where the children can see meals being prepared by our cook, thus providing a home-from-home atmosphere, something we constantly strive to do.
