We are dedicated to providing a warm, caring and secure environment in which children feel free to explore and grow in their development.
Approach and Philosophy
Our staff understand young children’s developmental needs and provide appropriate interactions and learning opportunities. Pre-school and after-school care is provided for children of aged 2 years 8 months to 12 years old. We adhere to the guidelines and principles of the National Quality Framework Síolta and the Curriculum Framework Aistear.
Facilities and Amenities
The indoor learning areas are set at the children’s level with small furniture and materials within their reach, encouraging independence in their learning. Play areas such as a kitchen area, work-bench, dressing-up area, painting easel, low sink for water play and a sand-pit are provided to facilitate children's attainment of their full potential. An area for relaxation and book-reading is available to children at all times. The outdoor play area provides a vast array of materials to encourage young children’s development, such as houses, climbing frames, slides, bikes and cars. There is a small flower garden and a mud kitchen for exploratory messy play. Sand and water play areas are also provided outside.
Staff and Qualifications
Our team consists of highly qualified childcare professionals with qualifications ranging from Fetac Level 5 up to Degree level in Early Childhood Education and Care, with a passion and love for working with young children.
