My Favourite Memory
One of my best memories was the time I spent teaching because it wasn't just the children who were learning; I was learning from them every day. It was amazing to share things with them, and each class they would bring a new story, a novelty, and so much more. It was a very positive and energetic exchange.
My Experience
I started working as a minder at a young age, caring for newborns to older children up to 12 years old. Additionally, I taught English to children in Brazil, ages 8 to 10, for a year, which was an incredible experience.
My Education
Well, in Brazil, I completed my high school with a focus on IT, studied English for 5 years, and I tassed for 1 year to children. In college, I did 1 year of Control and Automation Engineering but had to pause. So, I graduated as an Industrial Mechatronics Technologist and pursued my postgraduate studies in Business Management. Now, here in Ireland, I did a 6-month English course and I am now I’m in college (Holmes Institute Dublin) graduating in Bachelor's degree in Art in Business. I love learning, I am a curious person when it comes to learning, and I believe there is always something to learn on life's journey.
My Family
I am an only child from my mother's side, as she had me when she was very young. On my father's side, I have two sisters who are now 16 and 14 years old. Until a few years ago, I helped take care of them from the moment they were born because my parents are separated, and I only saw them on weekends. Taking care of them was my greatest act of affection towards them.
My Motivation
I am passionate about children and the energy they bring. Being with them fills us with hope, and we learn alongside them every day to become better people. Being with a family in another country allows me to experience their culture, traditions, and even share a bit of my own. Children lighten up our daily lives, making our days more enjoyable and fun, and we always learn something from them.
My Interests
In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, exploring Ireland, its culture, and places. In the meantime, I also like to research about things and how they work. I'm learning French on Duolingo to fill some spare time, and I sometimes enjoy reading as well. I'm passionate about series and movies, cartoons, and occasionally, I like to play games too because I believe there's still a child within me.

Neville came to work with The öogo Team to support working parents attending an event. From the minute he arrived, his energy was kind and positive. He demonstrated oodles of initiative throughout the day and the children adored him. We have already asked him back to help with more events due to the high levels of trust we feel we can place in him to think on his feet and show up with a great attitude.
