Hello, I'm Janaina M.
Hi, I’m Janaina! I’ve been working as a childminder for 5 years and truly love caring for children. I’m Garda vetted, recently completed a first aid course, and I’m available for a new position from January.
My Family
Family means everything to me. I have one sister and one brother, and I’m a very proud aunt to two wonderful nephews. I’ve helped my sister care for them since they were babies, which has given me so much joy and experience. We are a very close and supportive family, and I bring that same love, patience, and care into my work as a childminder.
My Favourite Memory
One of my favorite memories is when I travel to Brazil to visit my family. I get to spend precious time with my nephews and younger cousins, who are always excited to show me everything new in their lives. I love seeing how much they’ve grown, playing with them, and sharing those special family moments. Being reunited with my pets there also makes it even more special — it’s always a time filled with love, laughter, and connection.
My Education
I hold a Level 7 in Analysis and Systems Development and a Level 8 Higher Diploma in Computer Science. I have also recently completed a First Aid course, which helps me ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children I care for.
My Interests
In my free time, I enjoy reading, going to the gym, spending time with my friends, and working on puzzles. I love keeping both my mind and body active, and I really value time with the people who are important to me.
My Motivation
I love working with families and creating a warm, home-like environment where children feel safe, happy, and cared for. Supporting each child’s growth while building strong connections with families is what makes this work so rewarding.
