Dear Family
My name is Rebecca, I have over 30yrs experience looking after children of all ages from birth to the teenage years. Do you need an occasional childminder for the evenings or weekends? Or the odd night away / wedding? Look no further. I will say I'm a mature adult, with one grown-up child and two grandchildren. I currently work full-time caring for people with disabilities in their own home but my passion is childcare so I am looking for some occasional minding and babysitting.
My Favourite Memory
My favourite memories are from when the kids I have minded grow up and I see them again with their own families. I've been to a wedding of one of the children I minded when she grew up and seeing that was very special. The first girl I ever minded, I was invited to her wedding and now she has her own kids. Watching her telling her kids that I used to mind her is amazing.
My Experience
I have over 30 years of experience looking after children of all ages from 6 month-olds to teenagers. I have even minded three sets of twins in my time as a Minder. On top of my time as a Minder, I have also worked in crèches, playschools and playgroups. I'm now working with people with disabilities in their own homes. I have ample experience with both children and adults with disabilities as I was special needs assistant in schools. I drive, am okay with pets and do not smoke.
